Jo Ann Jones

Jo Ann Jones, 76, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer’s on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was born on November 22, 1936 in Selmer, Tennessee to John H. and Hazel McCullar King. Jo Ann married Gwynne Richard Jones on June 30, 1967 in Corinth, MS. They were married for 46 wonderful years. She worked as a Physician’s Medical Office Manager for 36 years. Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved being out in the yard. Jo Ann is survived by her husband Richard, Daughter Jo Michelle Reynolds (Kevin), grandsons Gage(Kayleigh) and Cole Reynolds, great-grand daughter Denver Reynolds all of Lakeland, TN., and a brother Robert H King (Yvonne) of Pigeon Forge, TN. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her mother and father John and Hazel King. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Fl., New York, NY. 10001. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11 from 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. There will be a funeral on Thursday at 10am also at the funeral home.
