Joe R. Carlin, 82, of Cordova, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was retired from the United States Postal Service and the United States Air Force. Mr. Carlin, the husband of Donna Carlin, also leaves a son, Bob Carlin of Cordova; a sister, Gayle Forsythe of Lakeland, TN; a brother, James (Peggy) Carlin of Ramer, TN and one granddaughter, Brooke. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lynn Carlin ; a daughter, Rhonda Carlin and a sister, Shirley Fulton. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
