Joe was born on September 11, 1975 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. He was the first born son to Carole King Montgomery and Ronald Lee Montgomery. Joe grew up in Memphis and graduated from Kingsbury High School in 1994. He received a full scholarship to the University of Memphis, and graduated from the Herff College of Engineering with honors in 1999.
Joe and Aimee married in 2003 and had two children, Nathan and Lucy Kate. Joe was a devoted and loving husband and dad.
Joe was a huge sports fan, especially NFL Football and college basketball. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was a die hard Memphis Tigers fan.
Joe was predeceased by his mother, Carole King Montgomery and his father, Ronald Montgomery. He is survived by his wife, Aimee, son, Nathan, daughter, Lucy Kate, sister, Susan and niece, Sage.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy on Saturday, November 5 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Joe was loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
