John graduated from St. Anne Catholic School in 2006. Then he attend Bolton High School and graduated in 2010.He became a pool technician and worked for several companies in Shelby County.
Growing up John loved being a Boy Scout and participating in outdoor activities. He also loved music and could play the piano, guitar and trumpet. In high school he was a member of the Bolton High School Band.
John is predeceased by his grandparents Herbert and Vera Moore of Millington, TN. and John and Marilyn Berkes of West Chicago, IL.
John is survived by his parents Michael and Sharon Berkes of Bartlett, TN. and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Visitation will be December 30, 2025, at 1:00. Services will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
