He was born February 14,1936, in Jackson, TN. One of 3 sons born to the late Inez Caradine and Melville Caradine. John was married to his high school sweetheart, Betty for what would be 70 years on November 3rd of this year. After marriage, Johnny served his country in the national guard while being employed by Southern Bell Telephone in Covington, TN. Johnny and Betty relocated to Millington, TN where he worked for Millington Telephone Company for 41 years.
In addition to his parents, he proceeded in death by his brother Sonny Caradine.
He is survived by his wife Betty A Caradine, his brother Mickey Caradine (and Rena), two daughters Debbie Gayden (and Mike), Kimberly Carter (and Tim) and two sons Andy Caradine (and Kristy), Johnny Caradine Jr (and Anita), 12 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Johnny loved his wife and family and provided a loving Christian home. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and desired everyone to know him too.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, April 9 beginning at 12:30pm until his funeral starts at 2:00pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Burial will follow in Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
