John W. Kopchak, age 76, on Sunday evening September 1, passed away quietly surrounded by his loving family. John loved God, his family and friends, and the St. Louis Cardinals. His last job working for the Memphis Red Birds, which he truly loved. Since coming to faith in Jesus Christ, John served his church family for many years as a deacon, coach, beloved Sunday school teacher, and on various committees.
He leaves behind his wife Pam, the true love of his life for 47 years, daughter Kristin Roberts (Nick), son Nick Kopchak (Kelly), son John Kopchak (Heather), and his daughter Jeannie Kopchak. He also leaves behind 6 beautiful grandchildren, Hailey and Avery Roberts, Abigail, Mayah, Asher, and Caroline Kopchak, and his sister, Velore Conley.

Family will receive friends from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Thursday, September 5 at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 1:00pm. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Rd, Memphis, TN.
