John Carter Scott, 55, of Cordova, passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. He was a member of Hope Presbyterian Church. Mr. Scott is survived by his daughter, Catherine Carter Scott; a son, Jordan Ingram Scott and his brother, Hal Scott. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Hope Presbyterian Church with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial gifts be made to the Church Health Center.
