J. C. REID, 71, of Lakeland, TN, passed away at home on the morning of Friday, November 2, 2012. His family invites the ones he has touched for visitation Sunday, November 4th between 5 and 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m., with burial to follow. All at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Bartlett, TN. Mr. Reid was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Boys Scouts of America - Troop 265, Telephone Pioneers of America and the United States Army Medical Corps. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. B. Reid and Virginia Lipford Reid. He is survived by four sons, Larry Robert Reid of Memphis, TN, DeWayne Raylan Reid of Marietta, GA, Royce Justin Reid of Memphis, TN and Jon Cory Reid of Southaven, MS; two sisters, Janie Spadie of Louisville, KY and Myra Reid of Lakeland, TN; three brothers, Tommy Reid of Pangburn, AR, Douglas Reid of Florida and Abie Reid of Bartlett, TN; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
