Betty June Parks went home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 25, 2023, on her 88th birthday. She is survived by her son Greg and his wife Donna Parks and her daughter Gina and her husband Bill Torrey. June had four granddaughters: Kelly Irene and her husband, Jeremy Connell; Krista Michele Torrey; Sarah June Parks; and Rachel Elizabeth Parks. She had two great granddaughters, Ella Rose Connell and Emilee Claire Connell.
Mrs. Parks was born in Murray, Kentucky to Vernon and Clara Butterworth. June attended college at Murray State in Murray, Kentucky. She was a devoted member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lakeland, Tennessee. June was well known amongst friends and family for her famous candy and cookies as well as her signature gift of Klondike ice cream bars.
Visitation for June will be on Wednesday March 29th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, followed by a service at 2:00. Entombment will be at Memorial Gardens Mausoleum of Hope.
