Karen was born July 24, 1952 to Frantie and Herbert Kuykendall. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Paul Michael Boston, Sr. and her brother Jim. She is survived by her two sons; Michael and his wife Shannon of Hendersonville; and Andrew and his wife Mae of Elk Rapids, Michigan. She also leaves behind her wonderful grandson Alex, of Hendersonville; Sister Jan Tucker Brunson and her husband Dennis, of Millington, TN.
Karen and Paul met at UT Martin, married, and raised their boys in Memphis. They worked together for many years in their own Insurance Administration business, The Nova Group.
Second to her family, Karen’s greatest joy was her pets. She gave sanctuary to many dogs and cats, birds and ferrets, and she nourished back to health many other wild creatures. The rainbow bridge had many sweet pets waiting for Karen to cross with them. Today, Karen rests in Jesus’ arms in restored good health.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Memphis Humane society in Karen’s honor.
