
Karl Gregory Kohn, 66, of Bartlett, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at St Francis Hospital Bartlett, due to complications of PKD. Mr. Kohn was a communicant at The Catholic Church of the Nativity and formerly at St. Ann Bartlett Catholic Church. He established the family business, Kohn Painting and Decorating in 1977. An avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener, Mr. Kohn was also blessed with many wonderful friendships. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marie Kohn; three children, Beth Gresham (Andy), Mike Kohn (Teresa), and David Kohn (Suzi); five grandchildren, Mary Gresham, Erika Kohn, Charles Kohn, Linda Kohn, and Betsy Kohn; and two brothers, Gil Kohn (Sara), and Ray Kohn. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 2. Funeral services will be at Memphis Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 3. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens (formerly Memory Hill Gardens).
