KATHERINE ELISABETH VANDEVENDER, age 24, was welcomed into her Father’s arms on September 1, 2013. Katherine battled Leukemia and left us with a legacy of courage, love and faith. She was greatly loved by her family and husband Blake Vandevender. Katherine was born in Memphis, TN. on November 7, 1988. She is survived by, her husband Blake Vandevender, parents, Chuck and Patra Mason; three sisters: Valerie Kissner (Dustin), Bethany Paule (Ryan), Angel Mason; one brother, Trae Mason, grandfathers, Stewart Wine and John Mason; nieces and newphews, David, Joshua, Andrew, Ileana, Sophia and Ava; in-laws, Scott and Kim Vandevender, Ashley, Conner and Trinity Vandevender; and Grammy, Grampy and Nanna. She also leaves behind her loving aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Funeral services will be provided by Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. at Faith Baptist church, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
