Kathryn Burks Taylor, 96 of Oakland, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. Mrs. Taylor was born in Konawa, OK and raised in Etta, MS. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service in 1983 and went to work with her husband Clyde, on their farm Taylor Oaks Farm Oakland, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Clyde Taylor and her daughter Carole Reed, two sisters Ellen Morris, and Esther Norwood, and her brother J.B. Burks . She is survived by her daughter Susanne Taylor, and her grandson Maxx Reed. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6pm, on Sunday, February 25, 2018, with a funeral service at 10am, on Monday, February 26, 2018, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133, with burial to follow later that afternoon in Enterprise Cemetery, in New Albany, MS.
