Kay Lunsford Grisham

Kay Grisham, age 80 died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in Collierville, TN in her home with family by her side. From her birth in Blytheville, AR, on December 9, 1937 to her death on Wednesday she devoted her life to serving and loving her family and friends. She never met a stranger and her home was warm and open to all. Left to honor Kay ( better known as Gigi) and remember her love are her two children Steve ( Karen) Grisham and Hollie ( Brian) Williams ; three grandchildren Steffanie Grisham, Kirby ( Whitney) Grisham, and Kaylee Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Larry, sister Sondra, and most importantly her beloved sweetheart of 53 years, Lee ( Papa). A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Germantown Parkway. The family will greet friends and family beginning at 3pm on Saturday after the service at Steve and Karen’s home in Bartlett. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Kay’s name to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
