Ken was born on April 14, 1938, in Horn Lake, MS, to Kenneth M. and Lela Louise Berryhill.
He is survived by his devoted beautiful wife of 66 years, Patricia Ann Berryhill; daughters Debbie Holtermann (Larry) and Terry Berryhill Hall (Jimmie); grandchildren Allie Rae Hopper, Brandon Faber, and Laurence Faber (Emily); and great-grandchildren Maddox Hopper and Parish Kuehner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Faye McCracken and Linda Joyce Edwards; and his brother, Randall Berryhill.
Ken began his career in the 1950s hand-painting signs for Wonder Bread. His talent and creativity grew into a lifelong vocation, becoming a well-known sign design artist with several prominent Memphis companies, including Neogram Signs, Balton & Sons Signs, and later Harold Balton and Frank Balton Sign Companies. In 1981, he purchased Holley Sign Company, establishing Berryhill Signs, where he spent the next 33 years designing non-electrical signs for real estate companies, builders, subdivisions, apartments and businesses across the Mid-South.
Beyond his professional life, Ken was an artist, a comedian, a sailor, a fisherman, and above all, a man who could fix anything, just ask his granddaughter.
