

Kimberly “Hom” Otts Falanga, 31, of Cordova passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital-Germantown. She was born February 9, 1983 in Memphis, Tennessee. Kimberly attended St. Ann Catholic School-Bartlett, graduated from St. Benedict at Auburndale High School, was a graduate of University of Memphis-Loewenberg School of Nursing where she received her BSN, was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church-Bartlett and an avid Steelers fan. She was also employed with United Healthcare and St. Ann E Care. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Frederick Lee Otts; grandfathers, William Michael Chop, Major Roosevelt Otts; and is survived by her husband Joey Falanga of Cordova; mother, Karen Chop Otts of Cordova; brother, Frederick Lee Otts, Jr. of Cordova; sister, Shannon Edmondson Williams of Eads, TN; grandmothers, Nancy Chop of Germantown and Christine Otts of Southaven, MS; nephews, Carter Otts and Knox Burrus. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN with the interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. A reception and fellowship provided by Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens will follow in the reception area of Memphis Funeral Home. Kim would love it if you could attend her services in your favorite sports team attire. The family request that memorials be sent to LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center-Memphis.
