Laroy "Laura" Thomas Nichols, age 84, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Laroy was born August 5, 1937 in Memphis, TN. She was a graduate of Tech High School class of 1955. Laura loved gardening, cake decorating, cooking and was an avid dog lover.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James Wallace Nichols, her parents, Roy and Helen Thomas, her sister, Jean Thomas Moore, and her grandson, Gregory Mark Raymond. Laura is survived by her daughters, Saundra Nichols Daniel (Ronney), Ellen Nichols Raymond (Ron), five grandchildren, Andrew Raymond (Tasha), Rachael Rodimel (Zach), Emily Pement (Aaron), Benjamin Daniel, Luke Raymond (Elena), and five great grandchildren.

The family requests that any memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
