Larry Gene Williams

Larry Gene Williams born to Birdie Mae and Thomas Eugene Williams on June 30, 1950 in the river town of Hickman Kentucky, gained his angel wings Wednesday March 4, 2026 peacefully in his sleep at Boliver Christian Care at the age of 75.

Larry worked for Illinois Central/CN Railroad for 44 years first as a fireman and worked his way up to being an engineer until his retirement in 2017. He loved to travel, go to the beach, watch and play sports, he was artistic, he loved good music and having a good time. He was the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his three sisters- Josephine, Marca and Norma- his animals, dear friends and nieces and nephews and cousins. He leaves behind his wife Theresa Jane “Terri” of 44 years and three children Thomas Jarrod Williams (Carol), Erica Michelle McHone “Rikki” (Kevin) and Elizabeth Jane Morgan “Beth” (Josh); and his three grandchildren Landon Anthony McHone, Aiden Michael McHone and Tennessee Jane “Tj” Morgan.

He may be gone but never forgotten and always in our hearts.

Service is Friday March 13th, with visitation at 9am and service to follow afterwards. Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens in Bartlett TN.
