Lauren Marie Clemmons

Lauren Clemmons passed away on May 4, 2015. Lauren brought joy and comfort to everyone she met, and her untimely death has brought indescribable pain to her loved ones. Growing up, Lauren participated in various sports at her parents’ urging, but she excelled at singing and treasured her time in the chorus at Bolton High and St. Benedict. After receiving her BS in nursing from Union University in 2011, she worked at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett where she used her God-given talents to bring comfort to her patients. She is survived by her parents, Bill and Lynette Clemmons, and brother, Cole, all of Lakeland; grandparents Billy and Laura Clemmons of Jackson, Tennessee; grandfather Eddie Lott of Garland, Texas; and numerous family members and friends who loved her dearly. Lauren’s funeral will be on Friday, May 8, at 2:00pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2949 Davies Plantation Rd, Lakeland, TN, followed by a graveside service at Memphis Memory Gardens on Raleigh-LaGrange. Visitation will also be at St. Paul’s on May 8, starting at 12:00. Flowers may be ordered through Memphis Funeral Home; alternatively, donations may be made to the Humane Society.
