Jeff was born November 24, 1957, in Selmer, Tennessee, to Leonard Paul Taylor and Ruby Marie Kiddy. He leaves behind his sister Kate Grammer of Ripley, Tennessee, and brother James Taylor of Jackson, Tennessee. He graduated from McNairy Central High School in Selmer and attended Northwest Community College in Booneville, Mississippi. He and Kathye were united in marriage in 1979.
Jeff’s career included several different sales positions. Most recently, he was employed with Business Systems and Consultants out of Birmingham, Alabama.
Jeff had a passion for fishing and spent many happy hours on the water with his son Grant. He also enjoyed metal detecting, shooting skeet and hunting for arrowheads.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in his name to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association. A small family service is planned for February 10 at the family plot in Bartlett-Ellendale Cemetery.
