Linda F. Brooks, 61, of Batesville, MS, formerly of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at her home. She was a graduate of Kingsbury High School, was a Registered Nurse and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mrs. Brooks, the wife of Paul Brooks for 42 years also leaves a son, Brian D. Brooks and a brother, Paul David Baker, both of Memphis; four grandchildren, Cameron Cooper, Bailey Medina, Dylan Curler and Jesse Waits and one great granddaughter, Ava Medina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odell and Frances Baker and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Brooks. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 21 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
