Linda Ruth Cales

Linda Ruth Cales, born March 25, 1943, to Joesph E. McCulley and Ann W. Clemons in Arlington, TN., went to be with the Lord on November 4, 2024, at the age of 81. She is survived by her 3 sons, Russell Cales Jr (Debi), Jeffery Cales (Tammy), and Anthony Cales (Veronica), her 8 grandchildren Chere York, Zakk Cales, Shalyn Nielsen, Deanna Cales, Kayela Yaun, Abagael Smith, Alex Cales, Amelia Cales and 8 great grandchildren, Lea, Coralyn, Hayden, Odin, Tatum, Knox, Wyatt and Baby Girl Nielsen.

A homemaker at heart, Linda dedicated her life to nurturing her family, raising her three boys with love and care, and supporting her husband, Russell, through 55 years of marriage. She also had a brief career at the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Cotton Division, but her true joy came from being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Linda’s nurturing spirit, quiet strength, and deep faith made her a beloved figure to all who knew her. Heaven gained an amazing and strong woman of God. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

The family will receive friends for Linda on Friday, November 08, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 AM.
