Linda was born October 13, 1962 in Memphis, Tennessee to Johnny Lloyd and Mary Louise Sparks; she was a graduate of Memphis State University (University of Memphis) and former member of Union Avenue Baptist Church and worked with UTHSC for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Lloyd and Mary Louise Sparks; sister Kathy Johnson and brother, Allen Sparks.
Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory a daughter, Ashleigh Maness and son-in-law, James Maness of Arlington, Tennessee; her beloved grandchildren, Jayden Maness and Skylar Maness.
Family requests that any memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice in Linda's name
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
