My dear friend Linda I have never been more shocked as I was when Leslie called and told me such bad news. I have so many good memories of this sweet kind lady whom everyone I know Loved. I do not know anyone who did not like Linda. She cared for everyone & was a cargiver to everyone. Her family was the center of her life. Linda & I were both only children and another thing we had in common we both lost our husbands & mothers too soon. We would see each other & have breckfast at Perkins with our retired IRS friends. Linda & I worked for years together in accounting at IRS. What I treasure most is the telephone calls we had talking for 2 to 3 hours each time after we retired. We talked about everything. You have gone away too soon my dear FRIEND Linda. I will miss you. Nan Smith Memphis Tn

I worked with Linda Harris in accounting for years. She was smart, funny, loved her family and most of all her husband, Leslie, David, Brian and Greory.
She had pictures of her children and husband on her desk. We use to tell her how handson Gregory was and that he needed a wife. We knew that Leslie had a wonderful husband & son. They use to take family vacations in Florida. She was always happy. Her mother got cancer and Leslie took care of her during the day and Linda went over there and spent the night. Never said a bad word about anyone but she could be be assertive. She made us laugh and she loved cats. Her cats was treated as good as a person. She use to tell us stories about Dallas & cowboy. Glen got sick and retired from the post office early and the doctor told her he might live a year. She took care of him and he lived 6 years. We always exchanged birthday & Christmans gifts. Leslie & her went to yard sales on Saturday and found the best buys. Leslie filled up her whole garage with good stuff and we would have sales at work to raise money for CFC. Linda brough in such nice gifts. We would gather around her desk and buy what ever she had before we put it up for sale for other people. She was never selfish and gave so much time to her children and to Brian. She always listened to your problems and always gave you good advice. She never told anyone else. She will be missed by her coworkers, family and lots lots of friends. God Bless you Linda and I am so sorry for the loss of this wonderful woman a pillar of strength. I loved you and I will miss you so much. Cheryl VanEmburg 213 Morgan Way Drummonds 38023
