Lois Wheeler, 85, of Memphis, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl S. Wheeler, daughter, Sandra Kaye Wheeler Cumberland, son, Kenneth Wayne Wheeler, and siblings, Jimmy and Marvin Brown and Peggy Chrisco. Mrs. Wheeler is survived by, her daughters, Brenda Wheeler Brignole (Billy) and Carla Wheeler Stotts (Randy), 9 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trafalgar Baptist Church. She recently was living at Rainbow Health and Rehab where she loved the people there and often helped the cooks improve on their recipes. She loved teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School at her church when she was younger. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, November 11 from 6-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at 2pm also at the funeral home.
