Maggie Schlafer, 93, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Schlafer, daughter, Barbara Roberts, and siblings, Chestine Smalley, Ann Harbor, and Curtis Brown. Mrs. Schlafer is survived by, her son, David Schlafer, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Schlafer was a very faithful Charter Member of Ellendale Church of Christ. Memorial contributions can be made to Children’s Homes Inc. (5515 Walcott Rd. Paragould, AR. 72450). The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 2nd from 1-2pm with the funeral starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange Rd.
