

Surrounded by family and friends, on Good Friday 2010, Margarita “Marge” Solivan, 88 of Cordova, TN, formerly of Allentown, PA, quietly left this world and went to meet her Savior in her new home in Heaven. She was born in Tampa, FL and was the daughter of Aurora Sanchez Garris and Louis Garris. She has two surviving sisters: Angela Forte, Pasco County, FL and Sara Nunez, Tampa, FL, along with a surviving aunt Barbara Thresher, Tampa, FL. Marge was married to the late Edward Solivan for 53 years. They had seven children: Judith Warmkessel, Fogelsville, PA wife of Carl, Edward Solivan, Clearwater, FL husband of Marilyn, Lydia Bors-Koefoed, Cordova, TN wife of Roy, twins Barbara Ann and Elizabeth Solivan-deceased, Margarita Rogers, Jacksonville, FL wife of Robert, and David Solivan, Kutztown, PA, husband of Debra; six grandchildren: Jennifer Justice, Orefield, PA, Bram Bors-Koefoed, Germantown, TN, husband of Jean, Lindy Bors-Koefoed, Memphis, TN, Kyle Bors-Koefoed, Memphis, TN, and twins Jonathan and Hannah Solivan, Kutztown, PA, four great-grandchildren: Sydney and Shane Justice, Orefield, PA, Sawyer and Margarita Bors-Koefoed, Germantown, TN. Marge, a true homemaker, loved to sew for her children and grandchildren, and for her home. She and Ed enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to a bridge club for many years. In the 1970’s Marge served as president for a local chapter of a women’s Christian organization. She loved her family, enjoyed entertaining and was always ready to help others. Marge loved and was committed to serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and had been a member of Faith Church in Trexlertown, PA. Arrangements have been made with Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel for Tuesday April 6 with calling hours from 4:00 to 5:30 PM and a memorial service from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. Another memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27 at Faith Church.
