Margie S. Harrington, 92, of Germantown, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Harrington. Mrs. Harrington is survived by her children, Loretta Vollmer, Linda Newlon and her significant other Earl Shelton, and Terry L Harrington and his partner Charles Young of Ocean Springs, MS., siblings Travis Shelby (Ann) of Marks, MS., Dean Gordon of Memphis, Nancy Harrison (Jack) also of Marks, MS., and Patsy Cullum of Batesville, MS., 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, March 14 from 12-1pm and the funeral will begin at 1pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
