She was preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Ethel Marsh; her brother, Douglas Marsh; and her daughter, Susan Simpson Hale.
She is survived by her husband Lydle Simpson; son, Tom Simpson (Michelle); granddaughters, Paige Simpson, Ellen Simpson and Morgan Hamblen.
Lydle and Marilyn lacked 5 days being married 63 years when she passed. She was a member of Cordova Community Church.
Funeral Services will be held , Monday June 23, 2025 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN at 10:00 am with her visitation prior beginning at 9:00am. A private burial will take place after the services conclude.
