Marjorie Ann Russell Hess, 83, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on March 7, 2017. She was an unparalleled seamstress, enjoyed gardening, knitting and loved her family. Marjorie Ann was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne T. Hess, her two sons Wayne Thomas “Tommy” Hess Jr., Raymond Edward Hess, her sister; Elizabeth “Betty” Sottile, and her parents Marjorie Josephine and Raymond Crittenden Russell. Marjorie is survived by her children; Alison Marie Clayton (Steve), Deborah Hess Reed (Mike), Laura Ann Hess (Alan), her grandchildren; James Thomas Clayton, Baeley Anna Reed, Katherine Nicole Reed, Jacob Michael Reed. The family will receive friends from 10am with a funeral mass to follow at 11am, with officiant Father Patrick Hirtz, on Monday, March, 13, 2017, at St. Ann Catholic Church Bartlett, interment to follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Tommy and Raymond.
