Martha "Marty" McBride

Martha “Marty” McBride, 57, of Mason, TN passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her residence. She loved her family dearly and family included far more than blood relatives. Her generosity and love extended beyond people; she loved animals and horseback riding. She loved to dance and live life to the fullest. She is best remembered as a memory keeper of her family’s events – capturing the beauty of all the lives around her. She was an extremely strong woman who persevered many trials in life. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Patrick McBride; daughter, Jennifer Presley Thompson of Arlington, TN; son, Michael Anthony Presley of Memphis; step-daughter, Virginia McBride of Memphis; step-sons, Patrick McBride, Jr of Cordova and Rodger McBride of Southaven, MS; 10 grandchildren; 3 sisters; 3 brothers; and 4 half-brothers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2015 and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 11, 2015 both at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
