Marvin is survived by his daughter, Jeri Feltner Lockhart (Wes); grandchildren, Katie WHITE (PJ) and Nick Lockhart; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Veronica, & Trey White and Owen Zane Lockhart whom he cherished. Marvin also leaves three sisters, Patty Trekell, Shirley Patocka (Leory), and Betty Levings (Fred) and many nieces, nephews, and friends whom he cared for.
He is preceded in death by his mother & father and three brothers, Don, Robert, & Gene Lee Brunken. Marvin was a decorated Sergeant (E-5) of the United States Marine Corps. He graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor's in Science in Business Administration.
He worked for Grady Jones and The Lilly Co. for many years selling forklifts and earning many salesman of the year awards. Those that knew Marvin knew he could sell ice to an Eskimo. In the early years, he enjoyed golfing and traveling with his family. Later in life, he joined a ministry to teach inmates about God. He also enjoyed
playing poker and singing karaoke.
A service to honor Marvin's life will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at the Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee. Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with service
to follow from 2:00 until 3:00 PM.
