Dearest Linda & Family,
I want to start with saying what an honor it has been to meet you and Marvin. I am always amazed at God's plans for our lives and how he brings people into our lives. What a blessing it has been. I prayed many prayers for Marvin to be healed but that wasn't God's plan. I know you're very sad to lose Marvin and I wish I could take that pain away from you. The Lord promises we will all meet again in heaven so we can all look forward to celebrating again one day. God promises we will be whole again so I hope he is drinking a strawberry milkshake. I will continue to pray for you for comfort and strength. Im here should you need anything. Sincerely, Cheryl Steele & Family

Linda, I remember the first time I met you and Marvin. We hit it off right away and we talked often by more so after you would leave. We discussed many thing from food to our Navy days. We would at times laugh but sometimes we cried together because he wanted so much to get well and go home. I tried to make sure I stayed positive and to encourage him to put out all he had to achieve his goals. I regret that I was not able to help him pull through for him to reach that goal. But I do know that he loved you dearly and he would have done anything to go home to you. I’ve prayed for my friend many times and ask god if it’s his will to heal him from his injuries. God has a plan for us all. It’s not up to us to question his works but we still do at times. I have no doubt that he is in heaven with him and with no pain walking around. Marvin was and will always be my friend and I’m a better person for meeting him. Should you need Polly or myself do not hesitate to call on us. We love you both dearly. Larry Ratliff
