Mrs. Sue lived next door to my family for many years.  Sometimes she would keep me while my mom went to work if I wasn't feeling well.  I remember her sweet smile and she always had a hug ready for me.  She would have done anything for my family and always told us she loved us when we left.  I still have many dolls that she made me as a young girl.  Her mom was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known.  I know they are celebrating in heaven and what a sweet reunion that was!

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother! Mrs Fortune was a great next door neighbor and friend  for so many years she will be missed! We will be praying for her family we love you always our great friend !

Aunt Sue was very, very special to my mother, Lois Fortune Womack.  My Uncle William was her favorite "big" brother. I cannot attend  Sue's memorial service, but wanted to say how very special she was to my family. she will be greatly missed.

This picture was taken a few weeks ago.  Sue and Dot  are our special friends from the mall.  I shall miss her greatly.

My grandmother meant so much to me...... (grandmother) I will miss you and know you are where you belong...... i  will see you again.

My mother was a resident at Applingwood nursing home for about 5 yrs. This is how I met this sweet sweet lady. She was a wonderful person and spent many days putting smiles on a lot of faces at Applingwood. She was a wonderful friend to me, my mother and our family. She will be missed by many.

I Live in Dallas so can't attend the services but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She was a special lady.

What a Jewel, she was.  She loved and was loved by all the residents at Applingwood where she served as a volunteer for many, many years following her husband's death.  She set and example for many of us.  My condolences to the family on your loss but I am thankful she was able to live on her own right to the end.  I loved her and will miss getting to see her and talking with her on the phone.   God Bless each member of her family.

Thoughts and prayers are with you family members gathered there in Memphis.  I live in Denver, but was visiting my brother, Don Todd and his wife, Dottie, in Germantown in mid-December.  Talked with our cousin, Barbara, at that time and she was telling me about your mom and how active she was and about how much Barbara appreciated her life.  Wish I could be there for the celebration of her life.  Know you all will miss her greatly, but have wonderful memories to share.

I volunteered with Sue at Applingwood for a couple years. She was a very dear lady and she will be missed.

Miss Sue was a special friend.  We grew to love her during our years at Applingwood and were so thankful that she was there when our Mother was.  She has been a friend since, too, and I will miss our conversations.  I miss Miss Sue.  Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
