Mary A. Mitchell, 92, of Memphis, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015. She was retired from Goodyear tire and Rubber Company in Union City. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by a son, John E. Diana and his life partner, Linda Starling of Lakeland; and a granddaughter, Jordan Diana of Memphis. Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday afternoon, October 25 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon, October 26 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
