I have so many fond memories of Aunt Sis . She was a wonderful person and loved dearly by all who knew her. She not only favored Grandma Maddox physically, she had a heart full of love just like her. She had a beautiful smile and contagious laugh that I will never forget. My condolences to all her children, grandchildren, siblings and extended family. I am and will continue praying for all our family members. I love you all, Sandra Maddox Adams

Mary Evelyn was my mother in-law of 43 years. She blessed me with one of her wonderful sons. When Gary and I were 1st married we would go to his mother's house every Sunday after church because we knew we would receive a fabulous home cooked meal. She taught me how to prepare a lot of tasty dishes, but I could never hold a candle to the likes of her cooking. Mary Evelyn would always bake the grandkids cookies and package their favorite cookies in individual bags just for them. She always saw the good in people and never spoke bitter about anybody. We will all miss her sweet smiling face and stories.
