She leaves her companion and best friend, Wayne Davis; brother, Danny Yelverton (Kathy); sister, Tonya Yelverton Babb(Mark); nephews and nieces with her namesake who will love and miss her forever.
Melody would make anyone laugh even on a sad day. She loved her family and is now happy being with the ones who have gone before her in heaven. By the grace of God, she will no longer be in any pain and will be loved by those who knew her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd Bartlett, TN. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens - Chapel, 3700 N Germantown Rd Bartlett, TN. Interment will follow at Memphis Memorial Gardens.
