Michael Fletcher, 81 of Hunstville, AL (formerly of Bartlett, TN), passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 4th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Mike was born on February 23, 1945 to James and Frances Fletcher. Mike grew up with a deep passion for life. He met the love of his life, Glenda, in 1966 and the two shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. As a father, he was a steady anchor, a loving father, and the loudest cheerleader for his daughter Shelley. Mike spent 50 years working as a tool and die maker International Harvester and National Guard products. Outside of work, he could usually be found at the lake with his boat and waterskiing with his family and friends. He was known for his quick wit, generous spirit, his ability to fix anything that he touched, and a love for his Lord and his church. He is survived by his devoted wife, Glenda: his daughter, Shelley Pittman: his son-in-law, Jon Pittman: his cherished grandson, Bryce Pittman (the joy of his life): a brother, James Fletcher (Diane): a sister, Diane Allen (Bruce): a sister, Patricia Campbell: a sister, Cathy Brogdin (Roger): and large, loving circle of extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances Fletcher. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on October 9th, 2026 at 11:00 am at Ellendale Baptist Church at 3861 Broadway Rd, Bartlett, TN, 38135.
