It is always interesting to catch up with old high school friends you’ve only seen a few times over the years to see how their lives have turned out. Mike’s story is an extraordinary one. What a pleasure it was to get to visit with Mike and Pam at his 58th birthday celebration at Bellevue last year, and to meet the rest of their family! When I spoke with Mike, I thanked him for allowing us all the opportunity to visit with him during the midst of his health struggles, and told him of the admiration I felt for him and his family for displaying such courage during that time. Mike’s and his family’s faith in God set a powerful example to others. Godspeed old friend!

I met Mike (and Pam) in 3rd grade when my family moved here from Atlanta. After high school I didnt see you much but ran into you at my church, Trafalgar Village Baptist on a Daddy/Daughter banquet. I think probably the next 3 or 4 years we would see each other at the events and would catch up on life. Your life is such a testimony and I know you are hearing "Well done my good and faithful servant". Praying for your family and friends.

What a man of God you were. I always looked up to you whether you knew it or not. You were always willing to help others and always had a smile on your face. I love you and will cherish the memories together. Until we meet again.....

I am so thankful to have known Mike, not only at Bellevue, but through his service to ECS. His work ethic and concern for his customers was a testimony to his determination to work as to the Lord and not unto men. He was one of the kindest, most caring men that I have ever known. The Cowart family is so thankful to have known him.

Mike: The last time I spoke with you was the summer of 2019or 2018. I believe .When you came to my my house. You came after your business closed that day,. You checked my heating & air-conditioning personally. We talked about family the most & really
enjoyed it. My husband & son were both deceased (6/14 & 7/14) & I
told you I really appreciated your personal caring. I did see you at church on occasion, but am at Trafalgar Village Baptist Church now,
This was due to health issues why I changed churches. I always will
still love Bellevue too. I'm praying for your beautiful family that you loved so much, You were a great inspiration to everyone who knew you. Love Pam as well. You are with Our Lord now. AMEN
Blesssings, JoAnn Rhue
