Prayers  of comfort to Mike's family.   He was one of the most positive, upbeat people I worked with at FDIC.  When I would arrive in the Memphis office, he always checked to be sure everything was working properly, and was quick to assist if there were issues.     He will be great missed.

I REMEMBER MIKE FROM WORKING AT THE MED. HE ASSISTED ME IN GAINING EMPLOYMENT AT FEDEX. BEEN THERE 22 YEARS AND COUNTING. GOD IS ABOUT TO RECIEVE A GREAT MAN AND THERE IS A PLACE IN HEAVEN JUST FOR HIM. THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID FOR ME, MIKE.

I remember one time when I accidentally deleted several document files (for a state).  Mike figured out what had happened.  He told me not to worry about it and promptly fixed the situation.  Mike will be greatly missed but serve as a continuing inspiration and role model for all of us at the FDIC.

I was so sorry to hear about Mike's death. He was always so kind and friendly when we saw each other. Prayers of peace to the family. I can only imagine how difficult it is to lose two siblings in so short a time. Peace especially to Mike's lovely wife.

I pray that we can survive this horrible loss of our dearest friend Mike. I pray that we all can learn to live without that tremendous wit we all knew to be Mike. That laugh that would make us laugh even if we didn't hear the punch line. Only God knows why he needed you at this time but there are a lot of people who just don't know what to do. A piece of us is gone and it won't be replaced. We loved you as a brother Mike and your spirit will live inside us forever. Don't worry Mike we all will take care of Pam.

Nice, helpful, kind, giving, caring, generous, thoughtful, super.just a few adjectives that described Mike.  Although our hearts are heavy at the FDIC, we are grateful that God allowed our paths to cross with Mike.  He was truly a rare jewel and he will be missed.  

He often talked about his grandkids and his face would light up as he shared stories about them.  We all knew how special they were to him.  My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Martello family.

I didn't know Mike but have been friends with Dave for many years and am very sorry for the loss of his brother at such a early age. I am sure that if Mike was like Dave he was the salt of the earth and loved by all. May God bring peace to the entire family at this time of need.

Its been a sad day at the FDIC since we learned of Mike's passing.  His loss is keenly felt by all who knew him.  He leaves an empty spot that can never be filled.  He always stopped to say hello and would ask if everything was working alright.  If it wasn't, he would fix it.  He was a positive person with a ready smile.  I'm sorry that he's no longer here but I hope your family knows how loved he was by his FDIC family.

We worked with Mike for years at FDIC before we moved away.  He was always smiling, friendly, and helpful.  We were shocked to hear of his passing and want you to know that he lived a life that God is proud of. We are praying for your strength and peace during this difficult time.

Dave, I know you will miss your brother, Michael, but his love of God, Family coupled with his friendship, professionalism and love of Christ will always be in the hearts of his love ones and friends.  You will hear his wisdom when sitting quietly trying to figure out a situation. He fought the good fight, He has now finished the race; now he can enjoy his reward with Christ in Heaven, where we will all spend eternity together!

It was a pleasure knowing Mike and being the recipient of his help during my visits to our office in Memphis.  His gentle demeanor, ever present smile, and IT expertise is a profound loss to our FDIC family.  We will miss our dear friend. I share these words through heartfelt sadness and tears. Saying that Mike was a special person is the ultimate understatement--he was a true rarity. His demeanor, words and mere presence was a constant ray of sunshine to ALL those around him. I am so honored, actually fortunate, to have known and befriended such a beautiful person. Mike will be greatly missed and long-remembered  by all those he touched with his neverending acts of kindness and love.  What a way to leave a legacy.

Mike was one of the nicest and most gracious persons that I have ever met.  I will miss working with him and asking him "How he is doing?" His response "Super!!".  My prayers are with the entire family.

My condolences.  Mike was such a lovely man and his legacy will be felt in our workplace for many many years.  He was so kind to me and so helpful even though I only knew him for a very short time.
