Michael P. “Mike” Davenport, 72, of Memphis, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a member of the YMCA and was retired from Shelby County Government. Mr. Davenport is survived by his brother and sister in law, Richard and Renee Davenport of Bartlett; niece, Amy Stonecipher, her husband Morry and their children, Jonathan, Patrick and Hanna; nephew, Richard (Ricky) Davenport, Jr., his wife, Missy and their children, Cassidy and Mason, all of Bartlett and his special friend Janie Turner and her children, Lydel Turner and Cindy Anderson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 21 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
