Mr. Lois M. Butler, 82, of Bartlett, passed away on September 5, 2013. He was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church, Carpenter’s Local Union # 345 and was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. Mr. Butler, the husband of Mary Sue Butler for 62 ½ years, also leaves a daughter, Debra Weatherly of Millington, a brother, Kenneth Butler of Lawrenceville, GA and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends and family will be from 5-7 p.m., Saturday evening, September 7 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Celebration of Life services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 8 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to Bartlett Hills Baptist Church “Together We Grow” or the Golden Circle Bus fund.
