Myung Joo Ku, age 54, of Lakeland, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Myung was born November 2, 1967 in Jinju, South Korea. Myung Joo always cared for others with compassion and grace, and she could always be counted on for a smile that would brighten your day. She loved karaoke, crafting, and spending time with her family. She made cooking look effortless and always found joy in providing for her loved ones. She had an effervescent presence, and she never hesitated to make friends. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal daughter, and dedicated sister. Her absence will be felt by all who knew her.
Myung is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Chong Ku; her daughter and son in law Elizabeth & Tim Wofford; her daughter Tiffany Ku; and her son Matthew Ku; her parents Kang Deuk Koh & Choon Ja Lee; her sister Dae Lee Koh, her sister Hyun Ah Koh and her brother Dae Hong Koh.
A visitation for Myung will be held Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133.
