Nancy Markey Miller

Nancy Susan Miller, a resident of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 60. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 16, 1964 to Alden Cyril and Mary Kathryn Markey, who preceded her in death.

Nancy graduated from Craigmont High School in 1981. She then went on to succeed in her career and become a respected asset to her coworkers and colleagues.

She was a mother, sister, Gamaw, and friend. Nancy had a brilliant mind and a big heart.

While we grieve her loss, and the loss of the life she had ahead of her, we are comforted and encouraged by the knowledge that there was a truly joyous reunion with many others who had been so special to her who have gone on before.

She is survived by her children, Mark Miller (Rebecca), Erica Hood (James Allen), and Jeremy Miller (Amanda), who blessed her with 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her three sisters, Kathryn Clark, Ann McDonald, and Marilyn Watkins.

Nancy’s memory will live on in all of those who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A celebration of life will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A committal service will occur Friday, December 6, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at External Service Location, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Memphis, TN 38133.
