Oleva Evans

Oleva Evans, 97, of Sardis, Mississippi passed away on March 15th, 2023. She was born to the late Orville and Pearl Cornelison on November 1st, 1925 in Seymour, Missouri. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Evans, Sr. and her brothers, Donald Cornelison and Harlin Cornelison. Oleva is survived by her sons, Schoie Evans (Barbara), Greg Evans (Susan), Geoff Evans (Deb); grandchildren, Lowell “Scho” G. Evans, III, Christian Evans (Virginia), Elise Isaia (Chris); and one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or to the donor’s choice. Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Friday, March 24th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 10:00am.
