In loving memory of our mother, Patricia “Sissy” Harris, 73, of Williston, Tennessee who passed away on February 8th, 2023. She was the devoted wife of David Harris for 54 years and loving mother of John and Dan. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in Belleville, Illinois to Pat and Helen Swindle, Sissy was a loving daughter and sister. Her love and devotion also extended to animals of all kinds, particularly horses, cats and dogs. Sissy was a strong woman with a competitive spirit, a source of inspiration to us all and we are blessed to have had the privilege of being touched by her grace.
Sissy was preceded in death by her parents, Pat and Helen. She leaves behind her husband David, sons John and his wife Timmie and Dan and his wife Josie, her brothers David and Mike Swindle and his wife Sherri, 3 granddaughters Autumn, Kaitlyn and Riley, her beloved horses Dusty, Shesha, Lady, Baby, Rico, Rusty and her mischievous cat Kit-Kat. Visitation and services will begin February 13th at 9 am at Memphis Funeral Home on North Germantown Parkway. A special thanks to Carol Harris and Jenny Ruth Patrick and Caris Hospice for all their care.
Momma, you will always be in our hearts and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at 10:00 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. A committal service will following Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
