Patricia "Pat" McOwen

Patricia “Pat” McOwen, 79, of Hernando, MS, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Hernando and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. McOwen, the widow of Herbert Eugene McOwen, is survived by two daughters, Gail (Mike) Klappholz of Hernando and Denise (Mark) Kelso of Walls, MS; three sons, Larry (Sherry) McOwen of Mountain View, AR, Michael (Denise) McOwen of Hernando and Mark McOwen of Nesbit, MS; a brother, Ronald (Sharon) Mathis of Centennial, CO.; fourteen grandchildren, Emily Trapolino, Thomas McOwen, Mandy Schooling, Christopher Cooper, Stephanie Walley, Joshua, John and Jesse McOwen, Julie McOwen, Mark David McOwen, Rebekah Akins, Sarah Keenum, Hannah Grace and Matthew Kelso and twelve great grandchildren, Ethan, Jacob, Philip, Lorali, Coco, Charlie, Sailor, Boston, Trey, Addison, Lillie and Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Donald Mathis and her parents, Calvin and Cathleen Mathis. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at 12 noon.
