Patrick Papke, 67, of Arlington, TN, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 7, 2016. Pat entered the Army in 1966 and served during the Vietnam War, where he earned 2 Bronze Stars and a Vietnam Campaign Medal. After Pat returned home from the war he immediately began his career with Brunswick Corporation. He worked for them for 27 years starting out as a mechanic then was promoted to manager and district mechanic. Pat was currently working for Billy Hardwicks All Star Lanes since 2004. Pat was inducted into the Bowling Hall of Fame in 2001-02 for his contributions to the sport. He enjoyed bowling very much, but in later years, he enjoyed teaching the art of bowling to others more. He was a member of the early Saturday morning bible group at St. Ann’s and was a devout Catholic. Pat loved his family, enjoyed gardening, watching sports, and Indy racing. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Alice Papke, and a brother John Papke. Pat leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Pam, his children Kimberly Fly (Ricky), Adam Papke (Cindy), Chase Papke (Cassie), his sister Angele Simmons, and two brothers Billy Papke and Edward Papke. He also leaves six grandsons whom he adored; Tyler and Ethan Fly, Colby, Knox, Robert Landon, and Easton Papke.
