Phyllis L. Nichols, 90, of Bartlett, TN. formerly of Golconda, IL., passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 13 years, Francis V. Nichols. Mrs. Nichols is survived by her daughter, Jane Nichols of Bartlett, TN., brother, Don R. Smith (Delight) of Blue Springs, MO., niece, Kimberly Johnson, nephew, Kevin Smith, great-nieces, Amanda and Ashley Willis, and great-nephews, Joseph Willis and Hunter Smith. Mrs. Nichols was loved by many of her 3rd grade students after teaching for 30+ years. She was a member of both, First Presbyterian Church in Golconda, IL. and Westminster Presbyterian Church in Paducah, KY. If she wasn’t working in her garden, she was either playing bridge or traveling the world. The family asks that any donations be made to the donor’s choice.
