It hurts not to have Phyllis with us here in this world. I honor her and pay tribute to her. Hundreds, thousands, of people are better off because of her. When I was a new nurse 10 years ago, she taught me many things, so well, things you don't learn in school. When I nominated her for Nursing Star, one of the things I mentioned was that you never heard her say a bad word about anyone. That is rare in this world. She brought joy to so many people.  I can just see her walking down the hall, making sure her patients (her "babies") were taken care of. But this was her temporary home, and we were so fortunate and blessed to be a part of it.  Thank you, Phyllis.

I will miss Phyllis alot.  She was a great and sweet person.  We became close because she had breast cancer and I also had breast cancer.  We would always hug each other and say we are supporting each other.  I knew her from Flashbacks she loved to dance. Still cannot believe I will not see her again out there dancing. Because there are so many, I'll only say this: When I'm at work sitting at the nurses station and look to my right, you won't be there but when I look up, I'll see your smile.
